Accounts Payable Assistant
Location: Reading (Hybrid)
Company: Webexpenses
About Us
At Webexpenses, we’re on a mission to simplify expense management for businesses of all sizes. Our award-winning SaaS platform helps organisations gain control, visibility and efficiency across their spend processes. We’ve now joined forces with Zudello, so Webexpenses powered by Zudello brings expenses together with accounts payable, accounts receivable and more in one finance suite. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our Finance team.
The Role
You’ll own the purchase ledger day to day, making sure we pay the right people the right amount at the right time. About 90% of your time goes on accounts payable and expenses. The other 10% is covering accounts receivable.
You’ll work alongside our Accounts Receivable & Credit Control Assistant and cover each other’s ledgers. The Assistant Management Accountant prepares the month-end accounts, so at month end your focus is closing the purchase ledger accurately and on time.
This is a full-time role (35 hours per week), reporting to the Group Finance Manager.
