As a business we are committed to ensuring that our business is conducted in all respects according to rigorous ethical, professional and legal standards.

We also strive for continuous improvement in our Social Values programme and encourage our business partners and employees alike to strive for similar performance.

Our key areas of focus at a local level include:

  • Educational Partnerships
  • Fundraising
  • Our Green Credentials

Educational Partnerships

We provide good quality opportunities for work experience and work placements: from  year 10 students at our local secondary schools through to paid industry placements students studying for a degree. We are proud to work closely with our local education providers and to provide their students with a valuable insight into what it’s like to work for a SaaS company.

In April 2022 we announced that we would be the first finance technology business in Oxfordshire to sponsor a scholarship in partnership with Activate Learning and South Central Institute of Technology. Our ultimate goal is to fully immerse the student into the scholarship to help them learn and develop core skills and set them up for a successful career in software development.

We also work closely with our local colleges via their advisory boards to provide input into projects and topics for curriculum development.

Fundraising

From bake sales, quizzes, an auction of promises and physical challenges our charity committee have covered them all, and we’ve supported a range of charities and causes in the process.

In 2019 a team of colleagues completed the Three Peaks Challenge, raising £8,000 for Cancer Research. Currently we are supporting Response, an Oxfordshire based charity, and to date have raised over £4,000. Our 20 mile sponsored walk through the Cotswold countryside is one way we’ve been raising money for this charity. In previous years we have supported other local charities such as Special Effect and Headway Oxfordshire.

Our green credentials

We monitor our impact on the environment and consider how we dispose of our waste. Here’s a few examples of how we do this:

  • Installing extra electric car charging points at our office.
  • Monitoring our carbon footprint.
  • Donating end of life laptops and office furniture to our local school for reuse.
  • Offering a cycle to work scheme.
  • Making recycling easier in the office.
  • Offering hybrid working to reduce the number of journeys to the office.
  • To mark the occasion of your birthday, we will plant a tree.
  • We are proud to announce that we reached carbon neutrality in 2022 and 2023.
